Who is REDD?

Dallas native "Redd", born May 18th, 1993 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas brings new energy to the field of hip-hop. At only nine years old " Redd" was introducing himself to his art. He developed the name " lil C ", rapping at local skating rinks, teenage clubs, and barbershops. Facing financial difficulties, having to live place to place in a single parent home, " Redd" tried to maintain what he loved the most. He told life stories by recording a long lists of songs, writing his own lyrics, and even making his own beats. When he was fourteen he joined and traveled with "M.V.R", a group from Dallas, Texas with the hit single " Bobby B". He went on to be the opening act for their shows. A year later he released " Go Head" featuring Young Black. A single which gave " Redd" a better name and image for himself.

He traveled to different states promoting and performing " Go Head", which played in clubs and appeared on numerous street " mixtapes ". Today he's joined with Clubtevents, Core Dj Wildhairr, and managed by Drew of Mouthpiece Entertainment. Since then he's worked with artist like Twisted Black, Dun Deal, Willie C etc. He recently released his new smash hit single " Thick Cutie" featuring " Webbie" of Trill Entertainment. He also hosted "Hustle & Grind Vol. 13" by Core Dj Wildhairr. Opening up for artists like Yo Gotti, Trina, Z-ro and many more, " Redd " is on a successful path. Currently he's working on Projects like " My Turn Now" and " I'm Reddy", mixtapes which are subject to drop around December 2010, and January 2011." Redd " has proven to be one of the new faces of hip-hop. With his past appearances, and strong business team, he seems to be flying head first towards his future.
