Legendary Group Set to Headline Zurich's

2013 International Country Music Festival, March 1-2

MTB to Record Performances for Future Live Concert Album

Nashville, Tenn. (February 11, 2013) - It's been more than 35 years since the legendary MARSHALL TUCKER BAND (MTB) rocked the continent of Europe.  But even then, the iconic southern band never had the opportunity to perform in Switzerland, a European country that is one of the most widely recognized for its love of country music.

In early March, for the first time in 41 years, the MTB will travel 'across the pond' for its first-ever live concert performances in Switzerland.  The MTB is set to perform March 1-2 in Zurich, Switzerland, at the 2013 International Country Music Festival, held at the Schützenhaus Albisgütli Event Center.  The two-month festival also includes performances from Lorrie Morgan, the LoCash Cowboys, the Quebe Sisters, Della Mae and Aaron Watson, among others.

"We are so excited to have been asked to play at such a prestigious event," notes MTB lead singer and founding member Doug Gray.  "It's been almost four decades since we last played Europe and even then, we didn't get to visit Switzerland.  We plan on arriving a few days early so we can enjoy the city."

The MTB plans to record the performances for a future live concert CD.
