Nesbeth's song of the year

The IRAWMA award marks Nesbeth’ third for the year, he previously won ‘Song of the Year’ at the 2016 JARIA Awards and the UNIA Marcus Garvey Award for Music in August
2016 was a roller coaster of a year for Reggae Artist NESBETH!
We watched as he painfully and publicly mourned the lost his beautiful wife and mother of his children to long battle with cancer, then we watched him lose is beloved sister within 3 months of his wife passing! We all watched as Nesbeth pulled off a MONSTER HIT with his “MY DREAM”. The timing of it all was rather unreal.

Stockton, CA: Mac Staging causes last minute cancellation of Jaharvestfest 2016
|
Mac Staging Company was hired to do the lights, sound, and staging for Jaharvestfest 2016. They were supposed to set-up on Friday the day before the concert. Arrangements were made with the Fairgrounds and the site was available all day. We were contacted Friday morning by the owner of Mac Staging, asking when they could start set-up. He was told that the venue would be open all day for them to setup as we had planned. He assured us that his "crew" would be there and have everything setup by 8am Saturday.

|
1946: (some say 1947 or 1948, or 1942): Millicent Small aka Millie, "The Blue Beat Girl", is born in Clarendon, Jamaica.
1971: The Ethiopians record "Owe Me No Pay Me" for Lloyd Daley, The Matador. It can be heard on a compilation "Lloyd Daley's Matador Productions, 1968-1972" (Heartbeat HB 92).
1999: Mr. Vegas wins Best International Reggae Act of annual MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
