Hi ,
It's October, one of my favorite months.
If you have a moment, don't think, just create a quick October acrostic.
Only I can see the black
Cats wandering in the night
Toward the pumpkin patch where ghosts are
OoooOOOOOoooOOooo' ing.
But, seriously,
Every October the weather seduces fall memories with the
Resplendence of red-orange-golden leaves, crisp air, cornucopias, and summer's serene surrender.
October acrostics written by friends on Facebook.
Pssst... Get your Kaizen-Muse Creativity Tip by reading the thing in green.
Read it twice.
"A person might be able to play without being creative, but he sure can't be creative without playing."
~Kurt Hanks and Jay Parry
The beginning of a creative pursuit is filled with electricity, infatuation, and bugle sounds from the inner landscape of your most favorite being. We dive in with all our time and resources but then we come face to face with creative chaos -- that part of the process where the ego and fear rear their ugly heads and taunt us, test us, and try to talk us out of continuing. Eighty-five percent of creativity seekers quit at this stage. Those who rise to the top know how to persevere through creative chaos.
How do you persevere? Make the process fun.

Guess What? The Modern Day Muses (and a Bodyguard) are now in the business of interviewing uniquely creative authors, artists, and other creative people. Our first interview is with favorite author and satirist, Alex Bosworth, author of Chip Chip Chaw: Tales of the Unsane, a book that is a great addition to your October reads - or really ANYTIME. It's the Muses first interview, so be gentle. Hear that here.
If you know of a successful artist, writer, musician, or entrepreneur who fits the description of "uniquely creative" please let the Muses know about them by writing: info@themuseisin.com
