JW-Jones is on tour this April in Florida and Texas! International Blues Challenge winner (2017), JUNO Award Nominee and Billboard Top 10 Blues artist JW-Jones tours constantly, and is known for his high-energy live shows. Jones has released nine albums, and performed in twenty-three countries and four continents.
Canada’s national newspaper, the Globe and Mail, referred to this Maple Blues Award winner as “one of this country’s top blues guitar stars.”
JW’s new release, High Temperature, was named the Hot Shot Debut on the Billboard Top 10, and is the follow up to the JUNO Award nominated Belmont Boulevard. (St. Petersburg, FL) - The Tampa Bay Blues Festival returns to the waterfront, in St Petersburg, Florida, on April 7, 8, and 9, 2017. That's three great days on blues music, in the sunny, tropical setting of Vinoy Park, on the shores of Tampa Bay.
This KBA winning blues festival has earned the reputation as one of America's best music events, with fabulous music, in a friendly downtown venue with so much to enjoy.
On Friday, April 7, dig the legendary sounds of Buddy Guy, with Ana Popovic, Albert Cummings, Jordan Patterson and Dennis Gruenling.
Saturday, April 8, features Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Barry Goldberg with The Rides. Also, hear the amazing tunes of Coco Montoya, Toronzo Cannon, Samantha Fish and Matt Schofield. That's an incredible day for blues guitar lovers!

The festival is going into is 22nd year and, as is tradition, is bringing you a diverse music lineup [April 28-29, 2017 in downtown Oxford, Mississippi]. KBBF to Announce 2017 Lineup and Honor GRAMMY Winner Bobby Rush April 19
|
(Helena, AR) – The King Biscuit Blues Festival will celebrate the announcement of the 2017 lineup with a special appearance by Grammy Award-winning artist Bobby Rush at 5pm on Wednesday, April 19 at the Main Stage on Cherry Street in Downtown Helena.
“This year’s lineup is a big change from some of the past few years,” says Sterling Billingsley, who serves on the Sonny Boy Blues Society Board and handles booking for the Main Stage. “Two of our three headliners will be playing this festival for the first time, and we’re very excited about the mix of veterans and newcomers.” The lineup announcements will cover all five stages for the 32nd King Biscuit Blues Festival, including the Main, Lockwood-Stackhouse, and Gospel Stages. This year’s festival will also see the revival of the Doctor Ross Rising Biscuit Stage and improvements to the Bit-O-Blues Stage.
