Surfing the astrological waves of change in 2017
Sunday, June 11, 2017
10 - 11:30 am
presented by Joseph Mina
with music by The Harmony People

2017 global intensity has picked up where 2016 has left off and the astrological cycles sure mirror it! And there's more intensity to come including a total solar eclipse sweeping across the United States mainland in August, 2 more Mercury Retrogrades, expansive Jupiter entering the dark, mysterious world of Scorpio and to close out the year, Saturn entering its own sign of Capricorn. On Sunday June 11, Big Island Astrologer Joseph Mina explores these and other significant astrological cycles, their implications for Donald Trump and the US Government, and how you can personally work with these cycles to derive their greatest benefit.

Joseph Mina is a Master Intuitive Healer, Teacher, Bodyworker, and Professional Astrologer. In his life work, Joseph offers an innovative and modern approach to the ancient mysteries of energy healing bodywork and astrology. Since 1992, he has specialized in Healing Arts Consultations & Workshops that are evolutionary, revolutionary and life-changing. Joseph resides on the South Kona coast of Big Island, Hawaii

Hawaiian Sun & Moon

Saturday, June 10, 2017
1 to 3 pm
$15
In this last class of this series, Lehua Lopez and co-teacher Willy Iaukea will relate stories of the sun and the moon and their importance in Hawaiian culture. Unlike almost all other cultures, Hawaiians have a different name for every night of the month. Each night of the month determined agricultural, fishing, ceremonial, and other work/social/and spiritual functions, making night-time behaviors critical to our way of life. The sun also played a crucial role in our culture—one of our most famous stories is about Ka La (The Sun) and Maui the Demigod (Iz Kamakawiwo`ole’s “Hawaiian Superman”).

Please come and join us in this final session as we end our encounters with some of our best stories!

Lehua Lopez, a native Hawaiian cultural anthropologist, has been researching Hawaiian culture for more than 40 years. Born and raised in Hawai`i Nei, she is a gifted presenter and delights her audiences with mesmerizing stories and complex insights. She can be reached at 808-315-6888, or email 88hale@gmail.com.

AUTHENTIC CONSCIOUS RELATIONSHIP: HOW TO FIND AND BE IN ONE
Saturday, June 24, 2017
9:30 - 4:30 pm
presented by Davina Mar

First, we will look at the beauty and purpose of relationship and why we come together! Then, we will work our way into a deeper understanding of how we find partnership. The process is meant to be fun and rewarding. it’s all about our understanding of it.

In this workshop you will be drilling down on the “you” in the equation, looking for the patterns as to why you have attracted the same kind of people over and over again. You will be doing exercises to see yourself more clearly.

You will learn to make new choices by seeing your patterns from the past, what to look for, and the questions to ask. You will be able to eventually rule someone out in the first half hour of a meet and greet. If you are serious about having a loving partnership in your life, this is the class to take.
There is space for Ten (10) people.

We’ll Break for Lunch around Noon. Can go out or bring your own. You must pay online to hold your spot: www.davinamar.com/store

Is this property meant for you?

In 1976, a member donated two lots in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates (HOVE) to the Religious Science church that evolved into New Thought Center.  In 2016 the current Board of Trustees decided to put the parcels on the market, with the understanding that the proceeds from the sale will go into the building development fund for our property at Pualani Terrace.  For 40 years we have paid taxes and road maintenance fees.  Our predecessors even made special payments to HELCO to bring electricity close to the properties.
Special qualities
1.     Lovely elevation, 3500 foot elevation.
2.     Wooded lots including many healthy ohia trees. It has never been graded, so the new owner can decide where to build, and how much vegetation to keep in its natural state.
3.     Quiet neighborhood.  A member of  New Thought lives just two blocks away, and can share insights from her experience building on similar property.
4.     Electricity has been paid in full for both lots, through the SSPP program.
5.     Less than 4 miles from the center of Ocean View, a 7 minute drive.
6.     Telephone lines on the street if you want a landline.
The two properties will be sold together because of their shape. The asking price is $23,000 for both. Please help us get out the word to potential buyers. Our realtor is Donna Durgin.  She can be reached at 808 937-8260, or by e-mail, donna@solarworks.com
