If you're gonna do me wrong

Debi Evans                      Lead Vocals
Bassist and vocalist Debi Evans adds solid rhythm and a sweet lead/harmony vocal to the South County Classic Show. Her love for music is contagious on stage. She is an accomplished musician in her own right, as her bass playing has been recognized by many notable musicians. She is dedicated to practicing, and is a fan of many styles of music. She also enjoys promoting bluegrass and sharing the airwaves with her husband.

Debi is also a full time member of the Florida State Bluegrass Band and a long time DJ cohosting with Ernie in St. Augustine, FL on WFCF 88.5FM  airing weekly

Josh Griffin                  Vocals, Guitars

Known for his impeccable timing, tone, and hard driving style, Josh Griffin is not limited to any style of music.  He has toured with several regional bands including, Southern Vintage, Southern Lite and Tobacco Road, which he co-founded in 2002.  Josh credits the Legends of Country Music as his main musical influences. He is also no stranger to the studio having recorded with Ernie Evans and the Florida State Bluegrass Band, Florida State Champion Flatpicker Danny Smith, and the Southeast Ga based Newfanglers. These combined skills show in his drumming and back up vocals.

Keith Portwood             Vocals, Drums
Keith was born in to Classic country and is one of the most versed drummers with a largest catalog of country favorites. His ability to drum and sing lead and harmony made him the perfect choice for SCC.
Ernie Evans    Vocals, Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin
Ernie Evans is a third-generation musician with the rare ability to play multiple instruments, sing lead and sing both low and high harmonies.  His musical vocabulary includes Jazz, Pop, and Country, as well.  This collective experience has made a major contribution to his ability to lead and orchestrate South Country Classic. Now a full time producer, Evans steps out of the studio and on to the stage with the band.

Ernie toured recently as a member of GRAMMY Nominee Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, GRAMMY Award Winner Vassar Clements, and Motown legends “The Platters".   His music has taken him all over the world throughout his career, and when he is not on stage or in the studio he can be found broadcasting in St. Augustine, FL at WFCF 88.5FM  airing weekly.
John Lemaster             Pedal Steel Guitar
John LeMaster is a veteran musician who is primarily a pedal steel guitarist, but who is equally at home on bass and rhythm guitars.

He has played in a number of gospel and country bands and had a nearly two-year stint as the staff steel guitarist on the WWVA Wheeling Jamboree in Wheeling, West Virginia.

While at WWVA radio, John played for many artists, including Crystal Gayle, Red Sovine and Don Gibson. He has extensive studio experience, but prefers the energy and excitement of live performance. John lives in Jacksonville with his wife and two children and enjoys flying his own open cockpit biplane.
