 The Sensational Barnes Brothers’ Nobody’s Fault But My Own has been hailed by NPR, Pop Matters, Billboard, MOJO, and No Depression.
For Chris and Courtney Barnes – aka The Sensational Barnes Brothers – old school gospel comes as naturally as falling rain. They’ve sung together all their lives, but with their new eponymous debut album, the first release of the Bible and Tire Recording Co. label, things are clicking for the duo like never before. Produced by Bruce Watson of Bible and Tire Recording Co./Big Legal Mess Records at Delta-Sonic Studios in Memphis, all of the songs on the record were chosen from the oft-forgotten 1970s catalog of the Designer Records label. This deep well of material will be featured more in future releases by Bible and Tire, created to spotlight the rich, living traditions of raw Southern gospel. For now, the Designer catalog is made new by the unique chemistry of this brother team. Along the way, they’re joined by a cast of tastefully gritty players like Will Sexton, Jimbo Mathus, and George Sluppick, not to mention Chris and Courtney’s brother Calvin, all of whom bring the tough soul-stomping sound of Memphis into the current era. ...More about these artists and release

 (HUGHESVILLE, PA) - Pennsylvania's "BIG" Little Blues Festival is back for the 31st year at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville, Pennsylvania! The Billtown Blues Association is proud to present its 31st Blues Fest on June 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2020. Three days of great blues music and on-site camping for RV’s and tents! Great food and craft vendors on-site as well!

(CLARKSDALE, MS) – The 17th annual Juke Joint Festival in historic Clarksdale, Mississippi is one of the most authentic blues festivals in the world. Hotel rooms book up fast, so don't wait. Main event is Saturday, April 18, 2020 with dozens of related events that run Thurs-Sun, April 16-19. The main event itself is all day/night Saturday — with 13 daytime music stages, 20+ nighttime venues, 100 blues acts, 100 street vendors (food, arts & crafts, etc.), petting zoo, rock wall, history bus tours, educational events and more. This epic 17th annual festival is dedicated to all of the late, great Delta blues players, juke joint owners and supporters who have passed away during the past year.
The Juke Joint Festival is "half blues festival, half small-town fair and all about the Delta." It celebrates our past and living history by presenting over 100 blues acts — including many Mississippi and Southern greats in their 60s, 70s, 80s or even 90s!
