Can you feel it? The very air is ripe with change and possibility! Can you feel it?
We’ve reached the tipping point and—like it or not—there is no going back! We are in New Territory now. We can fear it as the scary UNKNOWN, or we can embrace it as a golden opportunity to make necessary changes and create the world that we want.
It doesn’t matter whether we choose to hold onto the “old” for dear life, cower in the corner, or leap up and practice our Inner Magic—the world is already changed forever. The horse, as they say, has already left the barn, but many people haven’t recognized that yet as they carry on, shoveling the same old... hay(!), expecting the horse to return.
The constant message since 2012 has been change, Change, CHANGE! So this isn't sudden or unexpected. The Divine Feminine energy has been flooding the planet with increasing intensity since we went through that energetic portal back in December 2012, and now it’s reached critical mass.
The planets, of course, have been adding the weight of their energies to the purposes of the Divine Feminine, and we are at the intersection and effect of many powerful planetary transits that are shoving us toward evolution (as we go, kicking and screaming the whole way!):
—The outer manifestation of the deep inner changes brought about by the Uranus/Pluto Square (2011-2015), the second phase of the Great Uranus/Pluto Cycle that started in the late 1960s (note the parallels)
—The Saturn/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn in January 2020 (which affects the entire year)
—A series of three eclipses since June 5, 2020
And three more that specifically hit the U.S.A.:
—the solar eclipse of August 2017 that fell east-west across the country
—An eclipse on July 4th, 2020, its official birthday
—The return of Pluto to its position in the country’s natal chart
On top of everything else, the world has been undergoing an incredible Cosmic Time Out, thanks to the novel coronavirus, which is shining like a giant klieg light, piercing the veils of secrecy and illusion, and exposing all the cracks in the systems of government, justice, economy, housing, education, food, healthcare, and the disproportionate impact of these problems on people of color.

As all these energies sweep across the globe like a giant tornado, our house has been dropped to the ground, and all the long-hidden muck has been churned up and is swirling around for all to see. And it is not pretty! All the hidden ugliness (all of OUR hidden ugliness) is right in our faces, so that this time, we cannot turn away. And we can’t sweep it under the rug again, because the rug went flying past us a while ago!
The old hierarchy and patriarchy of the Piscean Age no longer work. The light is shining on the centuries of entrenched authoritarianism, abuse of power, self-serving leadership, subjugation and incarceration, white supremacy and racism, injustice, victimization, brutality, “politics as usual” and polarization, “business as usual,” greed, capitalism run amok, corporatocracy, plutocracy, and elitism—all the result of toxic Masculine energy and disregard of Feminine energy—and we are seeing where those practices have taken us.
The very concepts of democracy, justice, economic opportunity and distribution of wealth, and the role and limits of government are being reassessed with new eyes and in new energies.
The “old playbook” of political strategies no longer work, because people see them for the hypocrisy, lies, and manipulations that they are. Tone deafness at the top (or worse, callous disregard and aggressive self-interest)—on all issues—will become increasingly shrill and obvious.
After decades of ignored warnings, the dam has finally broken. Situations that people tolerated even a year ago are no longer tolerable, and people will no longer remain silent in the face of abuse, injustice, or police brutality. (No, the protests won’t be going away until real change happens.)
The Will of The People has changed dramatically, and they are awake and demanding change. Those in power have been caught with their pants down. Some will “get it” and catch up, while others will go the way of the dinosaurs (and never really understand what happened).
This Time the Revolution WILL be Televised!
It is fitting that the U.S.A. is smack in the middle of the headlines as the world embraces the Divine Feminine and moves away from the toxic aggressive Masculine energies that have governed for so long. The August 2017 eclipse—that crossed the U.S. from sea to shining sea—along with this year’s eclipse on Independence Day, and the approaching Pluto return to its natal position at the birth of the nation, have put the country under the magnifying glass (and in the hot seat!). That’s why it feels like our country has been thrown into the blender (with the top off)!
Remember that Pluto rules uses and abuses of power, corruption, deep dark secrets and all things hidden, and transformation. It has been in Capricorn since 2008, which rules governments, institutions, corporations, the economy, overarching systems, and the status quo. Think of the Revolutionary overthrow of compassionless abuse of power in 1776, especially economic power.

Americans are being asked (forced?) to review how far we have strayed from our stated founding ideals of “liberty and justice for all.” We are asked who we have become and who we want to be going forward.
We are also being asked to choose and to make a stand for what we believe is right—not just for ourselves, but for everyone. And in case we want to turn away from what we see we have become, we have mirrors everywhere!
We are subject to disinformation and misinformation wars like never before. For every assertion of truth, there is an equally strong assertion that the opposite is true. We are confused by mixed messages and forced to go inside to examine our beliefs and to find our own answers, because our “trusted sources” have failed us.
We are seeing the true colors of our elected officials shining through for all to see as we approach a momentous election. With 50 million people unemployed and mass evictions set to occur in coming weeks, the House of Representatives is taking steps to assist the People, while the Senate dithers and backtracks and avoids—just so many Nero’s fiddling while Rome burns. So much for those much-vaunted “family values.” People are finally seeing past the rhetoric and focusing on the actions—or inactions—on their behalf.
It’s also fitting that the massive worldwide protests started in the U.S.A., when the astonishingly callous killing of yet another black man in police custody ignited a revolutionary outcry focused on police brutality and all the many day-to-day injustices borne by people of color. Every night on TV we see peaceful protests against police brutality being met with, you got it, police brutality!
It is fitting because, as Pluto nears its natal position in the U.S. natal chart, it takes us right back to the original sin on which the country was founded—slavery—the original deviation from our stated ideals, which has never been truly addressed or redressed.
The passing of the great civil rights leader, Rep. John Lewis, has also afforded the opportunity to look again at the protests and police brutality of the 1960s when segregation and suppression of rights, including voting rights) were the issue (100 years after the Civil War). Despite the passage of civil rights laws, the fact that blacks have to again take to the streets and remind everyone else that their lives matter shows how little we've accomplished in the last 55 years.
So much that is happening today harks back to the 1960s—as we still feel the effects of the second phase (the first Square, 2011-2015) of the great Uranus/Pluto cycle that began back then. We are again seeing the criminalization of the Constitutional right to protest and the incredible police violence against protesters that we saw in the 60s, in incidents such as during the "Bloody Sunday" march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in 1965.
The aggressive police violence—and police actually inciting riots—that we saw at the 1968 Democratic Convention is being echoed by the federal stormtroopers now descending on our cities to foment more violent unrest—for a President to pretend to be strong, and for the photo ops and video footage. We're also seeing the “Law and Order” fear-mongering (and subtly racist) messages of both George Wallace and Richard Nixon from 1968 being reissued in 2020 campaign ads, along with that video footage. It really is “déjà vu all over again!”
We will see in November if the American people have truly learned these lessons and shifted in consciousness, or if they will yet again fall for those divisive—and false—messages.
Relax! It’s All Part of the Plan!
It’s very easy right now to fall into despair, because we are faced with more tragedies and challenges now than we have faced in decades. And for many, everyday life is, indeed, a heartbreaking struggle.
In addition, we are facing the unknown, our old touchstones are gone, and we’re not comfortable at all with that. We want to go back to "normal," but that previous normal will never come again. And that's a good thing! The "old normal" only really served the few, and we need a "normal" that works better for everyone else.
We are all heartbroken to some degree by what is happening to ourselves, our families, our communities, our country, our fellow humans around the world. And that’s okay. We need to feel that way.
Remember that the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in January is making this the time of Karma, paying the piper, and chickens coming home to roost! The rubber is hitting the road as we speak! Anything unresolved, unaddressed, or swept under the carpet is coming back up and being exposed. We are seeing things differently and we are seeing more than we ever wanted to see, as more people are acting crazier and more secrets are being revealed.
This is all an essential part of the difficult, challenging, messy and necessary “breakdown phase.” The time of accountability—and rebuilding—is finally on the horizon.
As difficult as they are, we were made for these times, and each of us chose to be here for this! Each of us has a role to play, even if that role is "only" to train ourselves to let go of the past and visualize and work for the world we want to see in the future—and to encourage others to do the same. The past is gone. It doesn’t work anymore, and that is becoming increasingly apparent.
By the time we reach December, the chaos will begin to settle down, as Saturn and Jupiter meet in conjunction at 0 degrees Aquarius. Some believe this will mark the “official” entry into the Age of Aquarius. That doesn’t mean that everything will suddenly shift to the Golden Age… that will take time, with lots of changes and rebuilding at every level, but if all goes well, we’ll be off to a good start.
Unplug, Chill Out, and Hang On!
Until December, just hold tight and expect the unexpected, especially between now and November. In an election year—and especially an election in 2020—ANYTHING and SO MUCH can happen in a few short months. Expect things you would never imagine, and do your best to go with the flow, no matter what happens!
In the next few months there will be more and more fractious energy. All imbalances will be emphasized, tempers will flare, frustrations will increase, and "crazy" will be more prevalent and over-the-top. "Bizarre" might be the word to describe the next few months. REMAIN CALM in the middle of the storm.
Remember to unplug from the sturm und drang of the media “news,” and BREATHE!
Recognize that fear and worry accomplish nothing, they merely overwhelm you and stop you in your tracks. Step away from that.
Focus on what you want and what you can do. Don't focus on what you can't control, it will only make you feel overwhelmed and powerless.
Use your own discernment about information, and consciously examine your beliefs to see if they still serve you. In this time of the coronavirus—which may be mild in many, but horrendous and fatal for some—it is crucial to assess the sources of the conflicting information that is circulating.
Leave room for others to have differing opinions.
Leave room for yourself to evolve in your thinking, and allow others to evolve.
Let’s go back to the basics set forth by the Founding Fathers, detach from our toxic history, and go from there, working to ensure "liberty and justice for all."
Focus on caring for yourself and your family. It's not your job to fix the world (not to mention that it isn't within your power!).
Take positive action when you feel prompted to do so. Live your ideals and walk through life in LOVE.
Detach from exterior events, rise above them, and observe. Let others navigate their own drama.
Let go of the way you/we used to do things and embrace the new. Let the old parts of yourself and your life that no longer serve you fade away, step into the new, and be grateful for the opportunity to do so—no matter how it shows up. Grieve the loss of the old if you must, but step into the new. Your future and the future of humanity depends upon it.
The Shift is Really Here! We've Been Waiting for This!
Remember that ripeness in the air? The Great Shift is in full swing and the manifestation energies are ripe.
We are all parts of the Great Creator, we are all creators in training, and the New World is ours to create. Let’s get on with it! And let’s all remember how very powerful we are, and step into that and own it! We are all in this together, and together we can create a world that supports everyone and fulfills the promise of humanity.
Be safe, everyone! Be positive! And be grateful for this amazing time of breaking down the old, outdated and unsustainable ways of being, and building the new!
Now is the time to begin creating Heaven on Earth! What would that look like for you??

In some very real ways, in the U.S.A., our own history is coming up for review, especially the founding of the nation, the Civil War, and the 1960s.
We are looking at the founding of the nation, because Pluto has been nearing its exact position in the nation's natal chart. It won't be exact until 2022, but Pluto moves very slowly and exerts very strong energies. We feel it coming!
Everything about our founding is up for review. It's interesting that many of the issues and conditions that provided the catalyst for the colonists to revolt against England—especially concentration of wealth to the elite and the corporations, with the people thrown under the bus—have been recreated here now, in just under 250 years.
So wealth disparity is up for review, as is the power and wealth of corporations.
And, of course, because of the protests against social injustice and police brutality against people of color, the inherent flaw of our founding is highlighted again. There was a push to exclude slavery in the Declaration of Independence, but eight of the 13 states were still slave-owning, and the founders believed the Revolution would be halted if that became a deal-breaker.
True or not, slavery was not addressed, and the "harvest" of that decision is still being seen today in systemic racism and an undercurrent of white supremacy.
The country attempted to correct the inherent flaw in the 1860s, and the result was the Civil War, as 11 southern states seceded from the Union and went to war to protect their "right" to own slaves.
They lost that very bloody war and the slaves were emancipated, but they managed to quickly institute Jim Crowe laws to enforce segregation and remove any gains and rights for black people under Reconstruction. Those laws remained until 1965—100 years after the Civil War.
The mid-50s and -60s brought another push to remove those laws and begin a semblance of equality. The great Uranus/Pluto conjunction in the mid-60s assisted that push for change (on many fronts), and we now revisit those issues as a follow-up to the second phase of that long, transformative cycle, the Uranus/Pluto square that we recently completed (but which is still playing out).
In some ways it is astonishing that we are still trying to fix the inherent problem in the birth of our nation. In other ways, there is no surprise at all. The roots of racial superiority and suppression run deep.
"The South Shall Rise Again!"
As a northerner, I was surprised at how revered all those statues of Confederate generals are—they lost a war of independence from the United States, after all, so why would they be venerated and loved for so long?
I did some research and found out about the rewriting of history that was so pervasive in the south.
History is supposedly written by the victors, but that was not the case with the southern states after the Civil War.
As blacks started to gain equality and opportunities, a massive PR campaign was launched by the United Daughters of the Confederacy, who pushed for erection of countless statues of Confederate "heroes," and propagated the wildly popular concept of "The Lost Cause" and the "Glorious South." They painted the pre-War south as refined and genteel, with benevolent slave owners and happy slaves, who danced and sang and enjoyed barbeques provided by the masters.
The number of Confederate statues, now the topic of heated controversy, attests to the effectiveness of this massive PR campaign (and another push for more statues in the 50s and 60s).
In the south, at least, they rewrote the history of the south to romanticize, idealize, mythologize, and glorify the "southern way of life," including the plantation system. Worse, they managed to get this version of the "Glorious South" into the school books, where it remained until at least the mid-50s!
No wonder there is so much controversy about removal of Confederate statues from our public squares!
In my view, taking the statues out of the public square doesn't change our history, it changes who we publicly venerate, who we hold up as our heroes, and who we admire and wish to emulate. It seems to me that this is a perfect time to review who those people are and make some changes. The statues of people we no longer admire, because they fought for white supremacy and slave ownership, can be moved elsewhere and given their place in history.
To make the point that these statues are a painful reminder to our black brethren, an artist in Albuquerque erected a statue of Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous child sex trafficker, in the town square.
Can you imagine the affect on a young woman who has been a sex slave walking past that statue? We can consider the parallels with Confederate statues and descendants of slaves. Is that something we want to venerate in public? Of course not! The statue was quickly removed for the outrage that it was. But it made the point.
Still Clinging to a Past That Will Never Return
It also feels strange that as public sentiment changes and a majority of the people support removing the statues, our President chooses to focus his time and attention on protecting those statues and keeping the names of Army bases named after Confederate Generals.
It's even stranger in the midst of a time of health and economic challenge that we haven't seen in decades.
It is yet another indication that the conscience of the people has awakened, but many of our elected leaders are still clinging to the past, tone deaf to the changes taking place.
It reminds me to look at my own "glorified beliefs" and "noble lost causes," and to look at where I might still be clinging to a past that no longer applies in these truly glorious new energies. It never hurts to think about a "software upgrade" to help my whole system run better!
We are being given a grand opportunity to really consider what is important to us and release the rest—to take out the garbage that has been polluting our minds and our lives.
It's not always easy to do such a review, but it's worth the discomfort and self-discovery—and the self-healing that usually follows!

"Be the Change You Wish to See in the World"

In this time of great challenge on every front, we are all being called upon to change our attitudes, change our actions, and live our lives in a different, more compassionate and loving way.
Many are realizing that we can't continue with "business as usual," or "politics as usual," where a small percentage of the population reaps all the rewards, and the rest are marginalized. Many are realizing that if injustice exists for a large portion of the population, there really is no justice.
The Divine Feminine energies are cracking open hearts, enlightening minds, and bringing people together to demand changes in the system, changes in the culture, so that everyone can be supported and provided opportunities to thrive.
The People are seeing the need to come together, while our leaders seem bent on continuing to divide us. One has to wonder how that serves them!
But the old ways of keeping the people divided—along racial, religious, gender, and political lines—are starting to fall flat, starting to fall on deaf ears.
Well, perhaps not so much on political lines. We seemingly fall into two camps politically, and for various reasons we seem to be unable to breach the gap.
It helps to remember the idea that things don't tend to be "All or nothing." No one (and no "side") is always right or always wrong. Often the truth lies somewhere in-between.
Having a different opinion doesn't mean that the other person is a bad person—they just see things differently, based on their own world view and life experiences. And most of us want the same things—love, a happy and healthy family, a nice home, meaningful work, and an opportunity to pursue happiness.
It would be nice if our leaders and the media would start to emphasize our similarities, rather than our differences.
But since we can see that our leaders lag behind the People in consciousness, it's probably up to us to show them (and perhaps elect new leaders).
Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." It's up to us to usher in this great Shift of the Ages, to usher in the Golden Age of Humanity. And we can't do that by sitting solidly in our bruised egos, pointing fingers at others, and wrapping ourselves up in how very right we are in our opinions, and how very wrong "those others" are.
The very act of seeing our brothers and sisters as "other" has created the problems we are seeing in the world, and we, as individuals—one heart and soul at a time—can change that.
We cannot have world peace until more of us have peace in our hearts. We cannot have a more loving world until more of us act in loving ways to others. It all begins with us, as each of us not only has a change of heart, but as each of us starts consciously acting on that change.
And it is not enough to dislike injustice, we must refuse to participate in it, and we must speak up against it when we see it. With embedded racism and bias in every institution and system in our culture, it will take all of us to remove this stain. But we can do this!
As the great Rep. John Lewis said, we need to be ready to make "good trouble."
