The Louisiana Music Educators Association is pleased to provide the LMEA 2020 Virtual Professional Development Conference (November 20-22). This event will provide two days of clinics designed to educate, encourage, and enlighten. Top educators from the state of Louisiana as well as nationally recognized clinicians will be presenting at this year’s virtual conference. NAfME’s Advocacy liaison, Matt Barusch, has recognized the Louisiana Advocacy Leadership Force for its work advocating for Louisiana’s music educators and their students. The LMEA Board of Directors formed LALF this summer and appointed Ginny Medina-Hamilton as committee chair. VIRTUAL STATE SOLO FESTIVAL - APPLY BY OCTOBER 19th!
LMEA is proud to present a recital featuring 10 each of the finest instrumentalists and vocalists in Louisiana. Soloists will be selected from entries submitted for the virtual state solo festival. The recital will be a featured performance during the LMEA Virtual State Conference. We are always so proud of our students, especially when faced with adversity.
