Here are Seven Sleep Inducing Foods
1. Warm Milk

Milk
A glass of warm milk is a perfect beverage to induce sound sleep

According to Ayurveda, a glass of warm milk is a perfect beverage to induce sound sleep. Science seems to back the idea, too. Milk contains tryptophan, an amino acid that converts into serotonin. Serotonin is known to have soothing effects in the brain, which helps you sleep well. According to 'The Complete book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies,' adding a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of cardamom and some crushed almonds would not only improve the taste of the milk, but also help promote good sleep. Even garlic milk is a good pick for inducing sleep. Mix together 1 cup milk, 1/4th cup water and 1 clove of fresh, chopped garlic. Boil the milk and consume warm.

2. Cherries

Cherries
Cherries contain melatonin, a hormone produced by the pineal gland

Cherries contain melatonin, a hormone produced by the pineal gland that regulates our sleep-wake cycle. According to the book, 'The Complete Book of Home Remedies', cherries are 'good mental fatigue and stress.' Eating 10-12 cherries a day could help you catch some good sleep.

3. Almonds

Almonds
In addition to enhancing the brain power, almonds could help you support sound sleep as well

In addition to enhancing the brain power, almonds could help you support sound sleep as well. Just like milk, almonds contain tryptophan, which has soothing effects on the brain and nerves. On the other hand magnesium is helpful in keeping your heart's rhythm steady. Have a handful of them each day and have a sound sleep.

Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolates are one of the best sleep inducing foods

4. Dark Chocolate

Yes, you read that right. Dark chocolates are one of the best sleep inducing foods. Dark chocolates also contain serotonin, which has a calming effect on your mind and nerves and helps you catch up with some valuable sleep. Make sure you don't take this information as a signal to load up on dark chocolates. Remember, excess of anything can harm you in the long run. Moderation is the key to good health.

5. Bananas

Bananas
Bananas could also prove immensely effective in making you sleep comfortably

Bananas could also prove immensely effective in making you sleep comfortably. They contain muscle relaxing magnesium and potassium. Not to mention the good carb content present in bananas that could make you feel sleepy naturally.

Oats

6.  Oats

Oats are filling, weight loss-friendly and one of the best sleep inducing foods, too! Why you ask? Because of the sleep-inducing melatonin that will help you wind down in no time. Throw in some berries and honey on top and sleep comfortably.

7.  Chamomile Tea

Refreshing, revitalising and fragrant, chamomile tea has soothing effect on nerves

Load up on these foods and sleep comfortably. A good head massage is also an effective and natural remedy to promote sleep.

LymePlexPlus
I am a believer in using whatever is available that makes sense, to treat and remove disease from the body. Combining this with a Rife machine is what I would try if I had Lyme.

Lyme is a difficult disease made even more difficult because there are those in the Medical community that still do not believe that this disease is for real and not in your head.  Since this was an overwhelming denial people found other ways to deal with this.  Rife machines and Zappers were the only answer for those infected with Lyme.  Now there is another option, and combining the two, personally is where I would begin.
Lyme Plus

Those from Lymeplex got in touch with us as they have also been using the Rife technology along with the Lymeplex for great results and wanted to work with us as we offer some of the best Rife and Zapper technology that is available, effective and affordable.

Spanish-Style Grilled Portobello Mushrooms and Peppers
Spanish-Style Grilled Portobello Mushrooms and Peppers
Serves 4 to 6
Capers, sherry vinegar and Manchego cheese bring Mediterranean flair to grilled mushrooms and peppers. This dish can be served warm or at room temperature. Leftovers are equally delicious, so you may want to consider doubling the recipe.

Ingredients:
  • 8 large portobello mushroom caps
  • 3 red bell peppers
  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, divided
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 ounces Manchego cheese, shaved
Method:
Preheat grill. Remove stems from mushrooms and brush off any dirt. Cut peppers into quarters and remove seeds and membranes. Brush vegetables with a tablespoon of oil and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Cook vegetables over moderate heat until browned and tender, turning once or twice, 8 to 12 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine raisins and vinegar in a small bowl and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Stir garlic and remaining salt and pepper into the raisin-vinegar mixture. Gradually drizzle in remaining 3 tablespoons oil while whisking to thicken vinaigrette. Stir in capers, then taste and adjust seasoning.

To serve, slice mushrooms and peppers into strips. Spoon vinaigrette over vegetables and top with Manchego cheese.
