It feels like a daily reckoning to me...
Do I count up the tally of lost opportunities or do I count down to the day where the vaccine is readily available and many events are able to resume in person? The answer, as
I know most of you would concur, is
to try to focus on future positives (count down) rather than to amplify the losses (count up.) But, I admit, at least for me
it remains hard to keep this focus.
The clock ticking away as my assigned group for vaccines has been pushed later and later while other groups have received priority has me dealing with anxiety I have not before experienced. As the most at risk person in my household it, yet the one who must occasionally do in person transactions,
I just cannot shake the concern that probability has put a target on my back. How are all of you managing this situation? I sure could use some suggestions on how to deal with
the risk. It feels like a roll of the dice
is all that stands between me and the end of the game of life.
For those who read last week's edition,
I will share that my sweet black foster kitten, Daphne, did well with her surgery last week and is now a member of the family. She has settled in and enjoying a wonderful friendship with my vision disabled former foster cat. She is, however, a bit miffed that I have a new group of foster kittens!
One positive for readers as we look forward can be found in this week's
news article about an online performance platform called "Can't Stop the Blues." What a great opportunity for
both artists and fans!
The articles below are running again to remind you of opportunities. I would love to have some updates.
