Bob Marley statue to be unveiled in Liverpool, England
Statue commissioned by
Positive Vibration Festival

Artwork by sculptor, Andy Edwards whose other works include The Beatles statue on Liverpool’s Waterfront

Positive Vibration Festival are delighted to announce that they have commissioned a 7ft tall statue of cultural icon, Bob Marley. The artwork is to be created by sculptor Andy Edwards who is well known in Liverpool for his brilliant Beatles statue on Liverpool’s Waterfront.
After a turbulent and difficult year for everyone, divisiveness has come to define a lot of public discourse. It was for this reason that Positive Vibration Festival came up with the idea for a Bob Marley statue. The universality of Bob Marley’s message of love, unity and hope is much needed, and the festival wanted to pay tribute to that message and hopefully inspire people.

After seeing the impact that Andy Edwards’ Beatles and Mohammed Ali statues had made, the festival approached Andy through Castle Fine Arts Foundry and have worked collaboratively to make the idea a reality.

The Bob Marley statue will undoubtedly become one of Liverpool’s most iconic public artworks and will mirror the success of other artworks around the city such as The Beatles statue, the Superlambanana and the Liver Wings.

OUT NOW! New from Leo Carmichael/Lion Spectrum Entertainment:
Official Music Video: "CALLING"  and New Single: "SUMMER TIME AGAIN"

It's double trouble with Leo Carmichael, who has released his first Official Music Video for "Calling" and new audio video for "Summer Time Again"!

Check them out now!

"Summer Time Again" is Leo Carmichael's new summer tune with a reminiscent old school, Dancehall feel that is bringing forward new fresh vibes, colorful harmonies and sounds, with a vibrant twist! Leo said it best: “it’s time to bring back dancing to the Dancehall once again," and the tune has that in overload! Check out the new Audio Video for “Calling”!

Leo Carmichael releases his Official Music Video for "Calling," set in the colorful concrete jungle of Jamaica, in Waterfront, Downtown Kingston! Carmichael's first music video already has over 50,000 views and growing!
Leave a comment, like and subscribe!

Directed by Kryss Ras & Prof for Lion Spectrum Entertainment, "Calling" captures the much yearned for party life and freedoms taken away by restrictions braced against a pandemic that has ravaged Jamaica's entertainment scene and night life. The dancing, partying, drinking with friends and vibing between lovers out in the open are missed! Quite to the contrary though, our wonderful tourists still share the joys that we yearn for in our all-inclusive resorts. Nevertheless, one thing you'll know about Jamaicans, nothing stops us from answering the "Calling"! Check it out now!

Some say this is the time spoken of by the prophets, that we are living in the age of Revelations itself.
Others say that this is a moment of a great reckoning; that in the natural order of things life and death go hand-in-hand, the cycle and the cipher are turning.

We say that music has the power to heal! #SafeNSound

FOUR CORNERS REGGAE FEST   SEPTEMBER 3-5 2021  LABOR DAY WEEKEND - Music & Camping

The FOUR CORNERS REGGAE FEST is on for SEP 3-5 2021.

Unfortunately, STEPHEN MARLEY will not be able to perform.

In these uncertain times, we are all doing our best. We are sad but totally overstand that health of the artists' come first.

From Stephen Marley's management:
"It is with careful consideration that Stephen Marley, and Stephen Marley productions, has made the difficult decision to postpone the forthcoming Stephen Marley "Babylon By Bus" tour dates in August and September 2021. Given recent data regarding rising infection rates due to Covid-19, we are cautiously moving these dates in order to mitigate the risk of spread amongst our touring production crew, including the band and family, and most importantly our fans. We hope that everyone will continue to be vigilant about safety at this time, and we hope to return to the stage in the near future."

If you have purchased tickets but desire to not join us due to this unfortunate news, please contact us at ticotimeresort.com

We are committed to do what we can to accommodate you but RASpectfully request y'all still come for the Inaugural Event. Its gonna be huge and full of REGGAE LOVE.
