Reggae artist Elementree just dropped his debut solo album "Solutions"
|
Cincinnati, OH - Reggae artist Elementree just dropped his debut solo album "Solutions
Stream/Download album on any platform by visiting this link: http://vibe.to/solutions Elementree has been performing with seasoned reggae band Elementree Livity Project for around 7 years now. During the early stages of the pandemic, the lockdown brought band live shows to a halt. With all the time away from the band and looking to branch out with his music, Elementree decided to pursue his solo project. The new album is his first solo venture, written, produced and published completely by himself. The album combines a fresh mix of Roots Reggae, Hip-Hop and Acoustic instrumentals accompanied by Elementree's original and soaring vocal styles. So many reggae influences can be heard in his voice from Sizzla, Warrior King and Anthony B to Jacob Miller, Freddy McGregor and Dennis Brown. His ability to switch effortlessly between the Dancehall Singjay/Chat to a smooth Reggae crooning vocal line is on point and adds a wow factor that keeps the album from losing luster at any point.

Jah Cure Says Promoter Stabbing Incident Was Purely Self-Defense
|
Dancehall veteran, Jah Cure, is ready to give his side of the story in an Amsterdam court tomorrow, January 12. The crooner believes that all will be made clear when he is allowed to represent his side of events.
According to one of the lawyers on Jah Cure’s defense team, Jan-Hein Kuijpers, who spoke with the Jamaica Observer, Cure is confident he will be vindicated. The lawyer also revealed that one of the reasons the “Before I Leave” singer is eager to give his side of things is that he firmly believes he was put in a situation where he needed to defend himself.
Kuijpers further revealed to this end that witnesses have to be interrogated. Jah Cure is expected to be given a chance to speak at his first public hearing tomorrow at 11:45 am. He is before the court charged with attempted murder, attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault, or attempted aggravated assault.
The popular reggae singer, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, has been behind bars at an undisclosed detention center outside of Amsterdam since October 2021. The charges have arisen from an incident in which the 43-year-old is believed to have stabbed a show promoter Nicardo Blake in The Netherlands on October 2.
There is a chance, according to another source, Franklin Wattimena, press officer at The Netherlands Public Prosecution Service, who also spoke with the Observer, that he may not get bail when he appears tomorrow.
She explained that if the prosecutor considers it necessary for him to remain in custody, then she will request that the court extend the remand order with a period of up to 90 days. Only the court can decide whether the remand order will be extended or not. Jah Cure’s lawyer shared that the “True Reflections” singer is in good spirits and is trying his best to keep his mood up. He added that “he is a powerful man.”

ISRAEL VIBRATION & ROOTS RADICS - 'Jah Guide Us' Tour - March, 2022
|
Catch Israel Vibration on tour in March!
Israel Vibration has an extensive catalog of music that consistently keeps coming with many classic hits such as Ball Of Fire, Get Up & Go, Cool & Calm, Why Worry, Vultures, Licks & Kicks, The Same Song Their latest album release is called Play it Real Along with the album there is a music video called Man Up.
Israel Vibration has done many major US tours with Kings Music International featuring Wiss and Skelly and Bunny Brissett on vocals. Their extensive music catalog spread out worldwide before the CD market went online. Ras Records and Jim Fox of Lion and Fox recording Studios in Washington DC were instrumental in setting their foundation as one of the greatest reggae groups in the history of reggae music.
Mention the name Israel Vibration in reggae music circles and watch the warmth of recognition and appreciation of anyone who has seen or heard this very special vocal group. The positive vibrations emanating from the music of Israel Vibration have been spellbinding audiences, critics and DJs for over three decades. The lead vocalists, Wiss and Skelly cast a harmonious musical spell, weaving traditional roots reggae with a mesmerizing sound and deeply spiritual message. Israel Vibrations have been touring very strong worldwide for many years. They are regularly featured internationally on most of the major Reggae Festivals.
Cecil Spence (Skelly) and Lascelle Bulgin (Wiss) were born in Jamaica. Each is a victim of Polio. They met as children in the Mona Rehabilitation Center into which they were placed because of their families' limited resources and their needs for specialized medical care. They learned early on the necessity for developing survival skills, and although polio is an undeniably crippling and debilitating disease, the youths never let their physically challenging situation overcome their willpower and creative abilities. They found strength in the faith of Rastafari through the guidance of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, and began composing and singing songs which expressed their spiritual beliefs.
Their spirituality and stance on issues relating to their residency at the Mona Rehabilitation Center caused them to be expelled from that institution. Undaunted, they found solace, comfort, and sustenance in their music, which won them the support of their local community and provided them with encouragement to pursue their music careers. They began recording in 1976, enjoying a hit with the poignant Same Song, which was licensed to EMI and brought the group international attention.

LISTEN HERE ON I-TUNES Ras Kidus, reggae singer and C.E.O. and producer of Roots Force Productions and
bionicroots.com, produced and wrote the new release “Strong Like a Lion From Zion” over many sessions in 2018. Vibe Arc Studios with creative sound designer, engineer and bass player Toho Saunders at the controls. Vibe Arc is an independently owned music company, specializing in song production in studio /on stage, live presentation for clients locally and world-wide. Beats and drums were added first and then the instrumentals and voice. The bridge “Holy Mount Zion” has been a standard of Ras Kidus' for many years. The words were inspired by observing people making poor choices, and believing that redemption is always available for those who seek the Most High. The reference to the presence and spiritual powers of King Negus I aka King Selassie I by the River Jordan or on the Hills of Mt. Zion where he commanded blessings, even life is meant to bring the presence and spiritual powers of King Selassie I in the Holy Land forward by the rivers of water on the Hills of Mt. Zion where he commanded blessings, even life. “Strong like a Lion from Zion” is a heart-felt modern take on ancient teachings and rhythms. Co-Produced by Stephanie Slade of Digital Slade Art.
