The board of directors of Ozark Blues Society is happy to announce we have secured a new date for our IBC "Bound for Beale" Fundraiser. The new date is Saturday, April 30, 2022! In the course of such a last minute change, we have also made a change to a new venue. The rescheduled event will be held at the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville. We are excited about the opportunity to present this amazing fundraiser at a new location as we grow our partnership with the Meteor Guitar Gallery. Our ticketing link is temporarily disabled while we update the purchases of those who had already bought tickets and finalize seating plans at the Meteor. We will let you know when it is again available. Read on in the article below for the latest information and watch this newsletter for updates.
Check out this week's new article highlighting the release of a new CD/EP by the duo, Buddy Shute and Mark McGee. Buddy and his band mates have been excellent partners for our Blues in the Schools events in the past and we look forward to a covid safe environment so that we can resume our outreach. Also, don't miss the returning "Save the Date" piece with basic information about the annual Subiaco "Blues at the Abbey."
Again this week, the indoor venues locally that carry sports still are featuring less live music. In addition to that, one source I used for our calendar for the last few years, Downtown Bentonville, Inc, has discontinued their calendar of events. If you are a musician (or fan) in Benton county please take note that you can email Sandy with your gigs. Please email the next two week's events following the receipt of the weekly newsletter.
Always remember, this is YOUR newsletter! Please send feedback or suggestions our way. You can reach me by email at the address below. We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!

2022 Fundraiser
NEW DATE!
|
We have a new date for our IBC Fundraiser! The new date will be, Saturday, April 30, 2022 which is the weekend before the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. What a great weekend to come out and see the Jeff Horton Band share the music they will be taking to Memphis!
Due to the need we faced to make a last minute change, we are also moving our venue to the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville. The ticket sales link is temporarily paused while we follow up with those who previously bought tickets, but we hope to have a new link up very soon. Watch for more information as we finalize the details of this new event. Thank you to all the supporters of Ozark Blues Society and our challenger, The Jeff Horton Band.
We understand how disappointing changes like this can be and we appreciate your patience as we work though the process.
