Changes are all recorded on calendars and the board of directors of Ozark Blues Society is moving forward to not
only plan our rescheduled IBC "Bound
for Beale" Fundraiser, but also
for our 2022 annual meeting. The meeting, as always, is open to all and members are encouraged to attend
as they have voting privileges for our board elections. Due to the regrouping needed because of the schedule changes, we have not formally announced the date for the meeting. Please watch this newsletter for an update soon.
This week we have returning articles about the schedule changes, an upcoming blues event at Subiaco, and news sharing the release of a new CD/EP by the duo, Buddy Shute/Mark McGee.
Of note again this week, the indoor venues locally that carry sports still are featuring less live music. In addition to that, one source I used for our calendar for the last few years, Downtown Bentonville, Inc, has discontinued their calendar of events. If you are a musician (or fan) in Benton county please take note that you can email Sandy with your gigs. Please email the next two week's events following the receipt of the weekly newsletter.
Always remember, this is YOUR newsletter! Please send feedback or suggestions our way. You can reach me by email at the address below. We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!

2022 Fundraiser
NEW DATE!
|
We have a new date for our IBC Fundraiser! The new date will be, Saturday, April 30, 2022 which is the weekend before the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. What a great weekend to come out and see the Jeff Horton Band share the music they will be taking to Memphis!
Due to the need we faced to make a last minute change, we are also moving our venue to the Meteor Guitar Gallery in Bentonville. The ticket sales link is temporarily paused while we follow up with those who previously bought tickets, but we hope to have a new link up very soon. Watch for more information as we finalize the details of this new event. Thank you to all the supporters of Ozark Blues Society and our challenger, The Jeff Horton Band.
We understand how disappointing changes like this can be and we appreciate your patience as we work though the process.
