Face-Coverings
The CDC has provided recommendations on what people should do to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of their safety measures, officials are asking everyone to wear masks regardless of vaccination status, saying that masking helps prevent the spread of respiratory viruses. With this in mind, LMEA will strongly recommend that all attendees, vendors, exhibitors, speakers, and student musicians when not in rehearsal wear a mask at the LMEA conference. When in rehearsal, student performers must wear a mask, (vocalist, percussion, guitar, and strings) or bell covers. Students must show proof of having a mask or bell cover when checking in.
Hand Sanitizer Stations
We will have hand sanitizing systems easily accessible to everyone throughout the event.
Spacing Measures
Social distancing practices will be implemented during the conference.
Health and Safety Signage
Signage will be placed to remind all attendees to social distance and frequently wash and sanitize their hands.
COVID Testing
To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please do not attend in person.
