Monday Night Brewing's massive two-day anniversary celebration returns to the Monday Night Garage 8/6-8/7. In celebration of 11 years of brewing some of Atlanta's most award-winning beers, the brewery is kicking things up a notch with more specialty bars, brews, live music and a late-night after-party.

Bold Monk brewer/co-owner John "J.R." Roberts discusses plans for a few refreshing summer treats coming to his beloved Atlanta brewpub. "Umibozu Rice Lager comes in at 5.2% ABV and features jasmine rice and Mandarina and Pacifica hops for a crisp, floral finish. At 4.8% ABV, Padre Mission Lager is our take on a Mexican amber lager. Walk on Water Witbier is our 5.3% ABV signature wit that goes down well during summer's long, hot days."

Hopstix brewpub in Chamblee has experienced a busy 2022. Local blogger and Hopstix P.R. guy Ale Sharpton comments, "Along with adding double-sized tanks and a new canning line, Hopstix also opened a sister restaurant a few months ago on Atlanta's Beltline in the Ford Factory complex. Lady Ha specializes in Vietnamese street food and serves Hopstix beers to enjoy on the Beltline."

Impressed by the success and appeal of Brick Store's cask bar, Creature Comforts recently installed an authentic English beer engine in its Athens taproom. As one of the first beers poured on the engine, Vujà Dé: Landlord premiered as an elegant and delicious English-style pale ale with 4.3% ABV, American malts and hops, and the distinctive Timothy Taylor yeast strain from the UK.

Summer beers at Moon River Brewing in Savannah include R.I.P. CURRENT tiki-inspired gose, Cone of Uncertainty hazy/juicy IPA, dry-hopped Planetary Pils and Cerveza de Rio Luna Mexican-style lager with toasted corn additions. Grab a pint to enjoy in the brewpub's beer garden.

Savannah's Service Brewing plans a fresh lineup of new summer brews, starting with Uncontrolled Imagination Double IPA that boasts additions of bergamot and Emerald Spire and Mackinac hops. This DIPA appears as the first in a series of three exciting double dry-hopped IPAs. Service's Meredith Sutton adds, "Just in time for warm weather, we will also release two salty sours. Li'l Prickly Gose was brewed with prickly pear, hibiscus flower and agave. The second will be Triple Fruited Berry Gose with black currant, blueberry and blackberry.

Head to Eventide Brewing near Grant Park for wonderful beers and free trivia every Thursday night from 7:00 to 9:00. Patrons can win free beer and bar cash. Dirty South Trivia hosts the entertaining rounds of questions.

Atlanta's 97.1 The River radio station partnered with Reformation Brewery in the creation of a new year-round pilsner. A Cold One satisfies drinkers as a light, crisp, sessionable pilsner loaded with classic noble hops. "We're proud to partner with 97.1 to bring this experience to you in draft and cans at our taprooms and throughout our Georgia market," says Reformation's CEO and co-founder Spencer Nix.

Georgia Beer Company in Valdosta has released a new canned beer called Back Nine Golf Beer. The brewery's Chris Jones notes, "This low-calorie light ale was designed for all-day drinking on the golf course, beach or backyard. It may not be guaranteed to take two strokes off your game, but it might."

Available through August, Arches' Bohemian Riot ranks as a local favorite Czech-style pilsner made with traditional malts and European hops. Enjoy this seasonal favorite on draft and in six-packs.

PACK LIGHT IPA

Our friends at Tantrum Brewing Company in Cleveland, Georgia, have concocted a tasty 5% ABV session IPA with 30 IBUs. Pack Light is a slightly hazy IPA with refreshing notes of citrus, tropical fruit and stone fruit. It's brewed and dry-hopped with BRU-1, Azacca and Citra hops for a deep hop character and light malt profile.
