This week what has my attention is the
up and down of spring weather. I suppose most of us find ourselves spending too much time trying to figure out which yard work to focus on. The grass (or in my yard more weeds than grass) is reaching the "mow me" stage, but what about garden and flower planting? Are we past the freezing weather that can snap at our efforts? And then the simple yet complex question...to water or not to water? Here's to hoping each of you find enjoyment in your outdoor pursuits. Anyone else counting the days to patio season?
For new blues news this week you will find an article containing information about the Kansas City Blues Society's annual fundraising raffle of a set of tickets for the January 2024 Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise. Who couldn't get excited about a Caribbean Cruise in the middle of winter! The only returning article this week is a call for newsletter submissions. A recent reader pointed out a lack of coverage on a local music news event. Disappointingly we currently don't have any regular reporters or reviewers submitting for this newsletter. Please check out the article below to learn more about how you can get involved.
It's always important to say, this is YOUR newsletter! No time to submit complete articles? Why not consider sharing dates for your favorite artists? Often, some get left out when our newsletter is complied due to the listings not being included in the community calendars we use. Many bands have time challenges in submitting information and this would be a great way for fans to show them some love! Please send questions, information, feedback, and suggestions our way. Just click on Sandy's email address below.
We appreciate our readers and want
to see your ideas included!
