Rhythm Room Annual House Rent Party Jan 6
|
 PHOENIX, AZ) - The Rhythm Room, Bob Corritore's popular blues and roots joint in Phoenix, Arizona, is holding it's annual House Rent Party, Saturday, January 6th, featuring a huge lineup of artists who are donating their time and talent.
This important event will be hosted by Jimi Primetime Smith and the Bob Corritore Blues Band.
Performances will include artists Cold Shott & The Hurricane Horns, Francine Reed, Andy Gonzales, George Bowman, Gypsy Wild at Harp, Daryl Porras and Betty Jo Vachon, Smokestack Lightning, Aaron McCall, Nick Armendariz, and more!
There will also be raffles and auctions. All proceeds will go to the the Rhythm Room to help pay down some big bills. Let's help get this blues and roots joint afloat!

31st Martin Luther King Festival Jan 13-15
|
 (CHESTER, SC) - The 31st Annual Martin Luther King Festival will be held Jan 13-15 at Carolina Hall (123 College St,) Chester, South Carolina, 11am-6pm.
Artists featured include Robert Kimbrough Sr. Blues Connection, Doris "Lady D" Fields Mission, Jonnie Marshall, Austin Walkin' Kane, Reggie Buie Trio, Boyd Family Singers, Rogue Johnson, Geno and Company, Patrick & Beth Hudson, Chester Jazz & Blues Band, Nathaniel Bruner, and the SugarFree Band.
The annual festival celebrates the life ideals and principles of Martin Luther King Jr. through a gathering of people enjoying live music, gospel, bluegrass, classical, jazz, folk, blues, R&B, including readings of several of MLK Jr. enlightening speeches. Admission is $25 and children 12 years and under $5.

Lancaster, Ohio Winter Blues Fest Jan 27
|
 (LANCASTER, OH) – The Lancaster Ohio Winter Blues Fest will be held at the Mill Event Center 431 South Columbus Street Lancaster, Ohio. Coming right up January 27 at 4:30pm (EST) get ready for a fun-filled night of Blues featuring The Legendary Ray Fuller and The Bluesrockers, Skyla Burrell, and Steve Riggs.
Doors open at 4:30pm, show starts at 5pm.
The Mill offers a full bar with local craft beers on tap (no outside alcohol will be permitted). Food will be available for purchase by Barrel & Boar BBQ Factory. Please use front stained glass door for entrance.
There will be limited open seating available. If you would like to reserve a table, you may purchase a table of 4, 6, or 8. Find tickets here.

Winter Blues Fest to feature 20 Acts Feb 9-10
|
 (DES MOINES, IA) - Two nights featuring 20 acts all under one roof and out of the cold!
The Central Iowa Blues Society presents their 2024 Winter Blues Fest Feb 9-10 at the Marriott Hotel, 700 Grand Ave, Des Moines, Iowa.
Friday in order of appearance: Ben Levin Duo, Josh Hoyer, The Cold Stares, JD Simo, Mike Morgan & the Crawl, Carolyn Wonderland.
Saturday in order of appearance: Matt Woods (IA Challenge Winner), Studebaker John, Heath Alan’s Iowa Blues Expo, Rush Cleveland Trio (IA Challenge Winner), Gabe Stillman Band, Jimmi & the Band of Souls (MN Challenge Winner), Tony Holiday, Indigenous, Max Kaplan & the Magic, McKinley James, Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal, Tom Holland & the Shuffle Kings, Cashbox Kings, Toronzo Cannon.
Advance tickets are $55 Weekend Pass or $25/Friday and $35/Saturday. At the door admission goes up $5. CIBS Members receive $5 rebate on Weekend Pass only. Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival returns to Coachman Park Feb 24-25
|
 (CLEARWATER, FL) - The Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival returns to its original home at Coachman Park on Feb. 24-25. Jam out to soul-stirring music from national recording artists, shop local market vendors and enjoy delectable seafood, craft beer and wine from area businesses at Coachman Park, 300 Cleveland St., Clearwater, Florida.
The free two-day outdoor festival, set against the backdrop of the city's newly renovated waterfront park, will showcase five free musical acts starting at 2pm. each day.
Friday, Feb. 23 is the kickoff with Makattack Music and Reverend Raven.
Saturday, Feb 24: Walter Trout, DK Harrell, Jontavious Willis, J & The Causeways, Doug Deming & The Jewel Tones.
Sunday, Feb 25: Nick Moss Band, Albert Castiglia, Meg Williams and Travis Bowlin, JP Soars & The Red Hots, Backtrack Blues Band.
The Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival is presented by Visit St. Petersburg Clearwater and is a free for general admission. VIP tickets and reserved seating is available starting at $20.

 (DOVER, DE) - Central Delaware Blues Society (CDBS) is holding their annual IBC Fundraiser Sunday, January 7th, 1pm to help send the CDBS IBC winners, The Two Johns, to Memphis, where they will represent CDBS. Please come out and show your support. All donations received will be used to send the IBC winner to Memphis and to help bring more class blues entertainment to Dover. This event will be held noon-5pm at the Delaware Veterans Post #2, 720 Pear St, Dover, Delaware. The Del Vets has plenty of food and drink to satisfy your cravings.
