Spring is a time of change and new events and new board members are infusing Ozark Blues Society with some very exciting ideas and energy! Of course there is the other side of the change and as they say, "all good things must come to an end." This spring has brought me the insight that I need a bit of a change in my life.
No bad news so no worries...I just feel is is time for me to pass the torch. After being on the OBS board since 2007 with a number of those years as secretary or VP, its time to be take a break. I will remain an actively contributing member as time allows. My current term as VP ends with the elections being held at the April 20th Twilight Blues event. Going forward
I will also be stepping back from my role as the editor of this newsletter, a role I first took on with the Friday, March 6, 2015 edition! Though skilled board members covered several weeks of newsletter production for me when I had surgery in 2022 and stand ready to fill in when I step down late next month, the OBS Board of Directors is seeking input from members or friends who might be interested in collaborating on newsletter production. The other role
I would like to shift out of is webmaster for the OBS website.
I took on this role "temporarily"
in March 2015 as well. Without web building skills, I would be the first
to say that I have not done justice
to the role and it is my hope someone with more skills could really add an exciting touch to the OBS website.
If you or someone you know is interested in either of these roles, please email LIZ LOTTMANN
