| | Dear Friends - I want to first thank you for your patience as we have worked through and around the effects of Hurricane Helene. After much thought and consultation, we have decided to produce this event on its regular date in 2025 - October 18. We looked at maybe doing two this year but the spring and summer schedules are too full with ours and other similar events to make this feasible.
As a registrant of the 2024 race, which did not take place because of the hurricane, your entry will automatically roll-over to the 2025 race along with any shuttle tickets you may have purchased. You do not have to do anything except come ready to have fun in October.
In case the 2025 date does not work for you, you may also transfer to one of other owned events in 2025:
Gateway to the Smokies Ten-Miler (June 21)
Mighty Four Miler (June 21)
Wilson Creek Half Marathon (August 2)
Papertown 20K/10K (October 4)
To move into one of these events, simply email me at greg@gloryhoundevents.com with your selected event. It is not necessary to email me saying you want to stay in the Geyser Growl.
Before someone asks, please know we will not refund any 2024 Geyser Growl entry fees as we spent a lot on that race that cannot be recouped.
