For the past several months, I have been working hard to bring you an easier-to-use, more robust website with dynamic content written by top writers who travel the world.
To start, there are 3 main sections to enjoy: Going Places, All About You and Community. In Going Places, you can check out the fun (and a few wacky) trips, the beautifully poignant article, Traveling with Cancer, and find out how much gear celebrity mom, Mariska Hargitay, really packs.
Within All About You, read up on walking poles, great travel jeans, Hershey's Chocolate Chicken and receive therapeutic help from "Dr. Cathy" to help you manage those tricky emotional issues that pop up when traveling. Laugh out loud and exchange information, questions and tips with moms on the Community Blog and messageboard.
Travelingmom.com is optimized so that search engines can find it in response to several search terms. When I started this redesign last summer, Travelingmom� had grown to several
thousand unique users in only a few months. I am convinced that with this redesign and your help, we can attract more users even more quickly.
This process took much longer than I expected and the only experience that seems similar to me is giving birth. There has been a lot of waiting, planning, angst, doubt, excitement and finally joy.
I am thrilled to invite you to enjoy and share my newest "addition." Your input and participation is vital to the life of this website. Help me continue to improve and grow Travelingmom�.
