Buy A Brick, Build A School Fundraising Campaign

The Savannah School of Massage Therapy recently became a non-profit and is having a fundraiser to build a new addition to the school and renovate the existing facilities. You can be part of history by purchasing a commemorative brick to show your support. All donations are tax deductible.

If you are interested in buying a brick or making a donation to our fundraising campaign, contact Gina, Robin, or Chris at (912) 355-3011. Your brick may be inscribed with a personal three-line message. If you want to honor someone special or commemorate your time at SSOMT, the brick is a great way to do it while helping us to raise funds.

As part of the fundraiser, we are also having a contest for volunteers who sign up 100 or more people to purchase the bricks. For every 100 bricks sold, the name of the person selling the bricks is put into a drawing for PAID TUITION FOR THE ESTHETICS OR MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM. The drawing will be held on December 31, 2008, with the winner announced in January 2009.

We thank you for your support!

Everybody Deserves A Massage Week July 16 - 21, 2007

ABMP's International Massage Week is now called "Everybody Deserves A Massage Week" and we at SSOMT are happy to donate all proceeds from this week to the Victor B. Jenkins, Jr. Boys Club located at 6408 Waters Avenue in Savannah, GA. This week is about raising awareness in our community about the health benefits of massage as well as serving our community by incorporating a local charity in to the mix.

The Victor B. Jenkins, Jr. Boys Club is operated by a 26 member Board of Trustees, who are totally committed to the uplifting of young men in areas of character and training in social, moral, and competitive activities. Our goal is to help raise money for the boys club towards building a new gym floor.

Come by and get a massage and donate to a local charity or just help us by spreading the word. All donations are tax deductible.

Congratulations to Miles Latham & Quiana Scott

On June 29th, 2007, Miles Latham and Quiana Scott became the newest graduates of the 600-hour massage therapy program here at SSOMT. They graduated just under the June30th, 2007 GA Massage Therapy licensing deadline. We wish them both much success and happiness in their future professional and personal endeavors.

Welcom Gina Stimach - SSOMT's New Receptionist

SSOMT would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest staff member, Gina Stimach. She hails from Kansas City and considers it home as it is where her parents and siblings still live. She married her high school sweetheart last December and made her transition to Savannah where he is stationed at Hunter Army Airfield. Currently he is serving in Iraq so staying busy is the key. If you bring up a conversation about tennis, running, or weightlifting with Gina, you've hit the spot. She has enjoyed her first three weeks at SSOMT and looks forward to meeting more new faces so drop by any time to say hello.

We are excited to have more support as we continue our plans for growth by adding an esthetician and spa management program in the next couple of years. Gina assumes management of the student massage clinic as well as supporting both Chris and Robin.
