Oh Mothers day always brings up feeling of gratitude for all the things my mum has done for me. And I guess I realise that more now I am  a mum. I used to get frustrated when I'd asked mum 'what can I get you for mothers day?' And the reply was almost always 'Nothing. Just have good behavoiur' oh that was such a tough one.

Now I find myself saying the same to my children. 'You don't have to buy me stuff to show me how much you love me.' How easy is it to fall into our mothers patterns of parenting. However once we are aware, we can do something about it.And so this mothers day I'm going to be ok with receiving from my children.(Their gifts are usually very specially chosen with love ones anyway!)

The painting here is one I've just created for my own mum...in appreciation and love.Sometimes we need these 'special days' to remind us to let our loved ones know just how much they mean to us. So I'm chosing to see these days as reminder days rather than commercially driven days.

The painting above was inspired by some drawings and playing around with a photo that my husband took of my hands. I wanted to tell a story, use some images that had symbolic meaning to portray how I felt about nurturing love. I've made the drawing up into cards, and I'm going to send a batch out this week to my girl friends... to let them know I'm sending them love.

Huge thanks to those of you who left a message in the Soul Connection, Sole Message Challenge. Women from the UK, the States and Australia, all left heartfelt, and inspiring words of wisdom. This has been an amazing experience for me, and as always was a two way street with me learning about my own communication and connections.

I have recently been asked to hang some art in a local gallery.
Bay Art Gallery on the esplanade, here in Hervey Bay.It is owned by a lovely couple who moved  from Brisbane last year. Murray is also an incredibly talented and detailed artist. And seems to have his pulse on the arts community, with workshops being held in the studio space at the gallery.

I have had the pleasure of coaching and working along side Tzaella Chiera. An amazing woman who recieved inspiration to create a series of mandala drawings with the Light language. She has produce an awesome set of cards that she calls the 'Light Body Codes'.

My experience with these Codes have been one of accelerating what ever I have undertaken as my current challenge to work through. And the added joy to these is that the language can be chanted or used  however you are intitively guided.

My role with Tzaella was one of idea bouncing on how to promote these ''Light Body Codes'. She was certainly a delight to work with. I am now using the Code drawings and my chanting voice (never knew I had one) to help me move through my 'stuff'.
