Dear Friends,
Thank you for your support of my candidacy for Buncombe County Commissioner. Thanks to you, our campaign led the ticket in the Buncombe County Democratic Primary!

Our success was no accident. It was the result of hundreds of dedicated volunteers and supporters who gave their time writing a letter to the editor, working the polls on election day or sending a contribution to help us get our message to the voters.

To everyone who supported our campaign, the volunteers, the contributors and the voters - I thank you.

I want to ask for your support as we begin our campaign for the critical General Election that will be held in just a few months time. The best way to win is to get started early. Your early support is more influential now than will be in the late fall. We need to raise $20,000 in the next two months in order to be able to focus in the fall on grassroots efforts.
