One Click Metamorphosis Part 1: The Social Media Button
Published 12 Jul 2012
Social butterflies! We know you’re out there. We know you love to connect with your subscriber base through various social media websites, and we know how much that can help your business. But, we also know that there are just as many of you not using social media to help promote your email newsletter campaign.
So, we figured it was time to shed a little light on the tools we’ve included in every MyNewsletterBuilder account to help you spread your wings and fly.
The Big Button
Part one of our look at social media marketing with MNB is all about the big button. By simply clicking on the Social Media box on the “Content Options” screen of each newsletter you create, you can add a link to an insanely long list of social media sites, giving your readers the opportunity to share your newsletter across every single site on that list in a matter of seconds.
Now, that may not seem like much at first blush, but it can really be a huge benefit to your email marketing campaign. Here’s why:
People LOVE to share. How many times have you seen your Facebook feed full of posts letting you know about deals and incentives from local and national business chains? It happens all the time. If you give your readers a reason (read: incentives) and an easy way to share your newsletters, they will. Before you know it, your readers are putting your newsletters in front of more eyeballs, expanding your impact with every click. They’re doing the work for you, and all you had to do was click that box.
You can discover new social networking sites. Look at any list of social media sites and what you see is only a small fraction of the list of social media sites included on the MNB big button. The best part about that list is that there are people reading every single one of them. Take a look at a few, sign up, share your newsletter and see if you can build new client networks across several of the sites on that list.
Stay tuned for more info about social media marketing with MNB, including a look at several of those sites that could easily benefit your business.
