You Are About to Renew Your Creative Spirit

Taos

 Hi All,

Hopefully you all have your travel arrangments set up. See the shuttle information at the bottom.

As I work on my book, I keep getting ideas for our retreat in Taos that are my favorite ideas to date. It's going to be filled with magic and enchantment. We will be a small intimate group which is actually thrilling to me because we get to know each other well.

If you do know of a musician you think might enhance our evening salons, please let me know. Also if you invite someone that ends up coming , I will thank-you-gift you with $100 spending money (and there are some great shops in Taos you'll want to spend that in).

In the meantime, read on for what to bring.

What to Bring

My main intention is to provide the space, time and experiences for you to have an enchanted and enriched creative experience and to return to or cultivate your creative self. There will be wild new ways for you creative fanatics to deepen your work, and I know a few of you are simply in need of being in a healing creative space.

Workshops in the morning will be designed to set you up for a day of effortless creative brilliance.  How you spend the rest of the day is up to you but you won't want to miss the meals.. every single one is a gourmet delight. In the evening we will share the day, here music (hopefully KMCC coach and singer/songwriter Jill Allison Bryan and her husband will be up for sharing their amazing music, and Denise Lumiere- her wonderful singing).

Suggestions:
~Bring a project you want to take to the next level OR take this time to explore a new modality. Whatever you choose, I will assist you in the best way to start spending time with your creative process.
~Maybe bring a camera and find a different way to take photos. Have a theme - Pinky Fingers with a Taos Backdrop, Wine-inspired sunsets, etc.)
~Include musical instrument if you play it.

Also to bring:
  • a yoga mat if you have one
  • two or three magazines with good images for collage
  • any fun art supplies you have on hand (I'll have supplies too)
  • Optional: a piece of writing, art or performance that you want to share in the evening (there will also be special prompts in the morning that might result in something to share in the evening
  • hiking shoes
  • Optional: a small sketch book, pencils, and optional: Micron 005 and 01 ink pens - I'll be teaching some travel sketching - whether or not you're an artist, you might enjoy this - its a way to be more intimately presence while traveling or while being anywhere
  • Also optional: A cheap watercolor palette but decent brushes for watercolor washes over sketches.
  • A journal
  • Maybe a book you find inspiring.
  • Think about your creative prcess, it will be one of our topics of discussion in the evening at the salon.
  • Comfortable clothes - you won't need a bunch of outfits, be comfortable.
  • A SYMBOL of YOUR CREATIVITY: a totem, piece of jewelry, a photo, something you made, an image.
  • Anything that makes you feel like yourself.
  • There are wineries in the area - feel free to bring a bottle to dinner.

I am so looking forward to seeing you soon.

In creative conspiracies and amusement,
jill
