The Road is Long |
|
Hi everybody,
Andrew here. For those of you who don't know me, I am the Cafe Manager here at the shop. For those of you who do know me, "Hi, your welcome."
It is my pleasure to give you an update on Laurey's adventure. The update is and will be the same for some time... she is walking across Spain.
The El Camino de Santiago (The Way of St. James) is a Christian pilgrimage across the north of Spain. However, over the past few decades it has become a spiritual sojourn for people of different faiths. We wish her all the peace, love, and joy that she finds along the way. |

JUNE! |
No more pencils no more books! It is time to welcome summer and all of us are excited. Why? The farms all around the area are starting to explode with amazing produce. Farmers are in and out of the kitchen bringing us what they are pulling out of the ground. That means fresh, natural, sustainable and most all...delicious.
Stop by or give a call to see what we have. And don't forget all the great Farmers' Markets that are busting at the seems all around town. |

A word or two from Andrew |
|
I would simply like to say that I have worked for Laurey for a very long time. I started catering for the company when I was in college. Now that I am 29 it is amazing to see the changes. We used to wear different colored aprons and ties. Now we dress in black and bistro aprons like ninjas trained in the ancient art of making events as best as they can be.
We have weddings coming through the summer and it is so wonderful that we get to make a perfect day perfecter (sure its a word). But hilarious jokes aside it has been, is, and will be a joy and honor to make celebrations wonderful.
I am proud that Laurey has made a home for me at her business because when an amazing person puts their faith in you to be amazing then you really cannot ask for a greater compliment.
I hope all of you reading this have had such a joy,
Thanks,
Andrew |
