Imagine fans coming to your Facebook page, clicking like, and signing up for your email marketing campaigns right from the comfort of their own Facebook. Our Facebook App makes it possible o add a subscriber sign-up form to your Facebook page and gather new contacts through your social media channels. This is a great way to keep people interested and engaged while taking advantage of social integration, a nutritious part of any marketing plan.
How it Works
Navigating through your MNB account, you can build the sign-up form and install it to Facebook. It’s really simple. You can also customize some of the display options on Facebook. We will even share how to make your App visible when you’re wondering where that darned thing went.
[+] Add Subscriber Sign-up Form to Your Facebook Fan Page
In your MNB account, select “Subscribers” from the main menu and click on “Sign-up Builder.” Follow the steps to
create the sign-up form you want to use for your Facebook page. Next, click the link that says “Facebook Page Tab Application.” A window will pop-up and ask you to select your business page. Select the page and click “Add Page Tab”.
Next, navigate to your Facebook page. The sign-up form tab should appear on your Facebook page among your other applications, such as Photos and Videos. You can move any of the tabs, and you can link to the tab in any posts or messages. Fans will see it too, click on it, and be taken to your email marketing sign-up form.
Please note that this feature only works with Facebook pages, not personal profile accounts.
[+] Customize the MNB Facebook App
Yes, it’s true: not everyone can rock the hard-hat look. You can change the picture to any other image you’d like to use. We recommend something related to email so people get a good visual cue as they poke around your Facebook page. You can also change the name of the app to something a little catchier.
To change the default icon and name for your Facebook sign-up form:
- First, make sure you are using Facebook as the page where the app is installed
- Enable pop-ups from Facebook
- Locate your application section and click on the small down arrow to the right of the applications. This allows you to configure installed apps/pages

- Hover over the MNB Facebook App on your Facebook page and click the pencil that appears in the top right. This is the “Edit” icon
- 5. Click “Edit Settings” from the drop down menu that appears. The window that appears provides space for you to specify a custom tab image and a custom tab name.
- 6. To change the image, click on “Change” next to “Custom Tab Image.” To change the name, enter your new name in the “Custom Tab Name” field and click “Save”.
- 7. On the next tab or window that opens, you will see the current image. Hover over it and select “Edit”. You will then be able to upload a picture that meets Facebook’s specifications.

[+] Find and/or Move the MNB App on Your Facebook Page
If your MNB app is buried in an avalanche of Facebook apps, you may want to move it to a more prominent location. Now you’re ripping your hair out wondering how to do that because face it, it’s not drag and drop… and we can’t figure out why. Never fear, we’ve cracked the code and have the easy steps to move the app:
- Make sure you are using Facebook as the page admin
- Click the drop-down arrow to the right of the application tabs to view more apps
- Hover over the MNB app and select the pencil icon that appears in the top right. This is “Edit”
- Locate the app that is in the position you want to put the MNB App and select "Swap position with (that app)"
Best Uses
The MNB Sign-up app is best used for getting your social media followers over to your email, a place where you can cultivate more loyalty with riveting content and giveaways. We recommend calling attention to your sign-up form about once a week, linking to it in your Facebook feed or instructing people to find it (in which case, please find and move the app to an easy-to-find spot). Additionally, you can link to the app from other social networks to increase traffic to both your Facebook page and your email list. Double win.
